FAQs about AI Agents

What is the cost for AI credit? +
AI credits are priced at $0.002 per credit.
How does credit equate to dollar ? +
1 USD = 500 Credits
What is an AI workforce? +
AI workforce is a collection of specialized AI agents that work autonomously or alongside humans to complete business tasks and processes. Unlike a single AI tool, it functions as a coordinated team where different AI agents handle specific responsibilities, such as research, analysis, content creation, or customer interactions, collaborating to solve complex problems while keeping human oversight, policy checks, and visibility in place.
What is an AI agent? +
An AI agent is a system that can plan, decide, and act on a task using context, data, and tools. Unlike traditional automation scripts, agents combine reasoning from language models with access to your systems, allowing them to complete multi-step workflows such as resolving a support ticket, updating a record, or generating a report.
What are AI tools? +
AI tools are the actions agents perform to complete their tasks. They let agents interact with systems, call APIs, fetch or update data, and execute logic. With DronaHQ’s Tool Builder, you can:
- Build custom integrations or connect to APIs.
- Create LLM prompt chains for reasoning or structured outputs.
- Use pre-built third-party integrations from DronaHQ’s library.
- Execute custom code directly inside your workflow.
Which LLMs do you support? +
DronaHQ Agents currently support multiple LLM providers and models through the built-in DronaHQ key. You can view the full and updated list of supported providers, models, and their credit usage here. Agents currently use the built-in DronaHQ key for all supported LLM providers and models.
Who is the agent builder for? +
Engineering, product, and operations teams that need agents to act across internal systems such as CRMs, ERPs, support tools, and internal databases.
Do I need to know how to code to build agents? +
You do not need to be a full-time developer to build agents in DronaHQ. The Agent Builder is designed to let you define logic and connect systems through a visual, guided interface. You can write natural-language instructions, pick models, attach data sources, and select pre-built tools without writing code. For more advanced workflows, developers can extend capabilities using scripts, APIs, and custom tool definitions. This makes it flexible for both non-technical users who want to automate work and engineering teams who need full control.
What are AI credits and how are they used? +
AI credits are consumed by all AI processing on DronaHQ Agents. This includes LLM token usage, knowledge base operations like vector search and document embedding, and built-in tools like file parsing and URL crawling. Each model and operation has its own credit rate. Each plan includes a monthly credit allocation, and additional credits can be purchased as rollover top-ups, meaning unused credits carry forward through your subscription.
How is DronaHQ different from building your own agent stack? +
Building in-house typically means integrating an LLM API, an orchestration framework, a vector database, a monitoring layer, and custom deployment infrastructure separately. DronaHQ consolidates all of that into one managed platform. Multi-LLM routing, a tool builder, agent memory, guardrails, tracing, and chat and voice interfaces are all included. Teams reach production faster and avoid the ongoing cost of building and maintaining the underlying stack themselves.
What happens when I run out of AI credits or tool calls? +
Credits and tool calls can be topped up via add-ons without changing your active plan.
