[PRODUCT UPDATE] Launching Catalog and Upload Data From CSV

We’re pleased to announce new features/changes on Studio (staging) published in this week. Following are the details about these features:

New Feature

•    Sheets

• • Row coloring in sheets – You can apply colors to specific rows based on filter criteria. A new option called “Colour” will appear on the sheet header. Clicking on the Colour button will open up the menu where you can input filter criteria. Put filter criteria and click on Validate. When the validate results to success, you can click on the color selector button (which will replace the Validate button) and select the color for the filtered rows.

• Builder
  • You can directly assign a Catalog when you create a new App. A new option to select Catalog on Add New App modal will allow you to assign a Catalog to the newly created App.
  • Edit App Details option has been introduced. This option is visible on the right corner of the App Card on the home page. When you click on the edit app option, you will see –Edit Details – through which you can edit the App Icon, Name, Description, Catalog

    Change Status to Live/Draft mode – through this you can turn the app into live/draft mode.

• Sheets
  • Import CSV file feature has been introduced to create a sheet with pre-filled data. On the Sheets tab, when you click on the Add Sheet button, Import CSV button will be visible on the Create Sheet modal. Input the desired sheet name and click on the Import CSV button, this will ask you to upload the CSV file to be imported. When you select your desired CSV file,                                                                                          Upload Data from CSV File modal will be displayed where you can modify the column name and select its type. Click on Upload will create the Sheet with data populated from the CSV file.
    Please Note: Currently, while importing CSV data, you can create columns, in Studio Sheets, of the following type – Text, Email, Number, Textarea, Url, Basic Dropdown, Decimal, Percent.

Changes/Modifications

• Builder

• • List, Table control – Search bar changed; Highlight selected value only when navigation is not set.
  • LOOKUP query optimization – Now your app will load lookup data faster.

Fixes

• Builder
  • User List, Product list – Highlight issue on iPhone.
  • Input Label – control font properties were not working Use API UI & parameter fixes.
  • Controls on-screen footer were not visible in Rules.
  • You will be able to move controls between the screen body and footer
